Good to know: Free parking. Free life jackets, first come, first served. Swim diapers required for children in diapers. No outside tents, chairs, umbrellas or wagons. No ATM on site. Smoke-free; service dogs only. The city's small water park inside N.C. Foote Park. The 2026 season opened May 23 with daily hours 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; from August 9 it opened Saturdays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays noon-5 p.m. Admission is $6 Monday-Thursday and $8 Friday-Sunday; children 2 and under are free.

Inside N.C. Foote Park at 2428 West Main — a Caribbean-themed kids’ pool, not the seven-acre pirate park on East Road. Zero-entry, dump bucket, small slides, a water-crossing, covered picnic, Ellis-licensed lifeguards. Coolers need a cooler ticket (48 quarts at most); no glass, alcohol or large knives. This is the splash you take when the people in the water are under eight and you want to watch them.

2026 season opens May 23. Peak: daily 11 a.m.–5 p.m. From August 9, weekdays close and weekends run Saturday 11–5, Sunday 12–5. Admission $6 Monday–Thursday, $8 Friday–Sunday, under 3 free. Swim lessons book early. Parks: (281) 420-6597. If you wanted the lazy river and the FlowRider, that is Pirates Bay, a different ticket.
